There are many types of cooling towers: closed cooling towers, cross-flow cooling towers, silent cooling towers, etc. What are the energy-saving technologies of closed cooling towers?
(1) The water is in the filling material in the tower, the water flows from top to bottom, and the air flows from bottom to top.
The countercurrent cooling tower has good heating function and is divided into three cooling sections: ①The space from the water distributor to the top of the filling material. The temperature of the water in this section is higher, so the heat energy can still be transferred to the air. ②The heat exchange section of filling material water and air. ③The water spraying section of the filling material to the sump space, where the water is cooled is called "tail effect". In the northern part of the country, the water temperature can drop to 1-2°C. In general, the countercurrent tower is about 20% smaller than the cross-flow tower in the same situation, and the heat exchange process of the countercurrent tower is more reasonable and high in cooling efficiency.
(2) The water distribution system of the closed cooling tower is not easy to be blocked, the water filling material is kept clean and not easy to age, the moisture backflow is small, and the antifreeze and deicing measures are easier. Multiple units can be designed in combination, and in winter, the fans can be combined for single operation or all fans can be stopped at the required water temperature and water volume.
(3) Construction, installation, and maintenance are relatively easy and low-cost. It is often used in air conditioning and industrial large, large and medium-sized cooling circulating water.

Advantages: energy saving, low water pressure, low wind resistance, low-speed motor is also equipped, no dripping noise and wind noise, easy maintenance of filling materials and water distribution system.
(2) Multiple foundations can be constructed and placed at will according to the shape of the building, and single or multiple cooling towers can be activated according to the required water temperature.
(3) It should be noted that: the frame should be 40% more heat exchange, and there should be more filling material volume, the filling material is easy to age, the water distribution hole is easy to block, the anti-icing is not good, and the moisture return is large.
(4) The advantage of the cross-flow tower is exactly the disadvantage of the counter-flow tower.
